Delores Dorsey, 93, Green Bay, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025. She was born February 17, 1932, in Appleton to Chris E. and Cecelia M. (Bruskey) Getsfried.

Delores graduated from Appleton West High School, Class of 1950. On November 23, 1955, she married James M. Dorsey at St. Therese Church in Appleton. He preceded her in death on November 14, 1990. She was a secretary for a law office in Appleton and for a finance and treasury office in Madison. Delores worked for Brown County until her retirement in 1993. She was a very active member of Annunciation Catholic Church. Delores volunteered for the church's religious education program and church rummage sale. Delores also was a part of the Mission Society, St. Vincent de Paul, "special friends" a widow's group, and when Stephanie was in school, a gym teacher. She loved tending to her flower gardens. Delores also enjoyed sewing and created many keepsakes, quilts, gifts, and donations to charities.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Heise, Jim (Mary) Dorsey, Tom (Pam) Dorsey, Will (Beth) Dorsey, Stephanie (Pat) Baker; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents, Chris and Ceclia; son-in-law, Jeff Heise; great granddaughter, Harper; eight older siblings, as well as Jim's siblings.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (NOON) on Thursday, April 3; Service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.
