Deborah "Debbie" A. Wood, 63, Green Bay, passed away Friday, October 16, 2026. She was born February 27, 1963, in Green Bay to Peter and Therese (Diederich) Denissen.

Debbie grew up in Green Bay, graduating from East High School. On November 9, 1990, Debbie married Kevin Wood in Fort Madison, Iowa. Together they had four sons, Eric, Gabriel, Matthew and Andrew.

Debbie worked a long career as a Registered Nurse. She worked her last 28 years at Humana until retiring. She was a lifelong member of St. Jude Catholic Church, where she taught CCD and decorated the church. Whether it was creating banners for the entrance, assisting in holiday events or simply keeping up with decor, Debbie was involved. She also used her creativity to make beautiful quilts and maintain her flower garden.

She enjoyed the little things like playing cards, camping with her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She adored being a grandma, attending all their events that she could. She was proud to have her grandchildren be a part of the Denissen Family Reunions, that are held yearly. Besides her big family, Debbie also cherished time and comfort with her cats.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin; children, Eric (Casey) Wood, Gabriel (Kara Koeck) Wood, Matthew Wood; grandchildren, Kaylee, Devin, Colton, Abagail, Jameson, Soren; mother, Therese; siblings, Michele (Jeff) Durfee, Susan (Craig) Glassmeyer, Lisa (Jack) Wrbanich, Renee (Dan) Brockman, Peter (Leanne) Denissen; siblings-in-law, David Wood, Steven (Mary) Wood, Gaylene Wood; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Debbie was preceded in death by her son, Andrew "Andy" Wood; father, Peter; parents-in-law, Betty and Hugh Wood; brothers-in-law, Hugh Wood, Gordon Wood; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Shelton.

Friends and family will gather at St. Jude Parish, 1420 Division St., from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 30; the Memorial Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
