Dawn Lynn Van Natta, 70, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. She was born on June 30, 1953 to James Barnel and Ruth Helen (Nelson) Van Natta of Green Bay, Wisconsin.

She graduated in 1971 from Southwest High School. Dawn worked as a city Assessor for thirty years here in Green Bay. She was very involved at her church of forty years, with the choir, teaching Sunday School, Bible Studies, Dessert Theatre, and more. Dawn became close friends with a group of women from her YWCA exercise class who would meet once a month for supper for many years. Dawn always smiled, she was a positive, kind person towards everyone. She loved her family and friends unconditionally and will be greatly missed. Dawn's love for rescue dogs gave her interest in volunteer work with them, and she herself owned five dogs throughout her adult life. Her strong faith in Jesus Christ was evident in the way she lived her life.

She is survived by her brother, Terry (Karen) Van Natta; sister Cindy (significant other, Dick) VandeWater; nephews, Scott, Ross Van Natta, Kenny VandeWater; niece, Caroline Vandewater; friend, Cheri Greenfeldt.

Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruth.
