David "Dave" Paul Hoegger, 63, passed away at home on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025 from a heart attack. He was born on May 9, 1961 in Green Bay, WI to the late Robert and Shirley (Aderman) Hoegger.

Dave lived most of his life in Green Bay where he attended Kennedy Elementary, Lombardi Middle School and Southwest High School. Even though Dave survived three kinds of cancer, a triple bypass and numerous other medical illnesses, he was able to continue enjoying one of his greatest passions in life of auto detailing. He was always talking about cars, sharing his knowledge with everyone. He also liked to resell vehicles and was extremely proud of his restoration efforts. His cats were also a big part of his life and if he could, he would adopt those that needed a good home. He took great care in providing a loving home. Dave was also known for the caretaker duties he performed for the complex where he lived. During this time, he met many friends and enjoyed his conversations with the other residents.

Dave is survived by three brothers, Dean (Julie), Dale, Drew (Chris); one sister, Heidi (Kurt); along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Shirley; as well as three aunts and four uncles.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30; Memorial Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. led by Pastor Dave Leopold, a good friend and mentor of Dave's who will be honoring us with his insight on how Dave's love of Jesus Christ guided his days. Philippians 4:6-7: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
