Darryl A. Johnson, 83, passed away June 16, 2026, at Unity Comfort care in De Pere, Wisconsin with his family by his side.

Darryl was an avid reader, enjoyed a good game of golf, coffee with his friends, and his 4-mile walks, just about every day. He was a "no nonsense" guy. When asked, he got the job done and was always willing to be there. Darryl was an intelligent man who liked a good book with a glass of Makers Mark at the end of the day. He served his country, proudly, as a Marine.

He is survived by his wife, Kaye; children, Jason (Michelle) Johnson and Melissa (Adam) Achten; grandchildren, Sydney (Tanner) Gussert, Sofia, Andrew, and Lily; as well as his brother, Donald (Pat) Johnson; sisters-in-laws, Marlene, Joyce, and Louise; and all of his nieces and nephews.

Others that passed before him were his parents, and his brothers, Dennis, David, and Dwight.

As an avid reader and lifelong supporter, Darryl has requested any memorial contributions be made to Carnegie Library.
