Darrell P. Panure, 88, Green Bay, died peacefully, Monday, December 26, 2022, at a local hospital surrounded by his family. Born in Green Bay, July 4, 1934, he is the son of the late Harry and Laverne (Edges) Panure. He married Mary Ann Callahan, February 14, 1953, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Green Bay. Darrell was forever grateful that he was taken in by Carl and Delores Edges and was raised as their son. Darrell was hired by Northern Paper Mill, currently the Georgia Pacific facility on Day St. After 44 years of service he retired as the lead operator of the centralized case sealer. He was an excellent angler, he loved perch fishing on the Bay with friends as well as trout fishing up North on Thunder Lake. Darrell had a passion for baseball, playing in his youth and following the major leagues, especially the Cubs and Brewers. The trip Mary & Darrell took to Hawaii with friends from VanBoxel Bar was one of their true highlights and in his later years he loved playing bingo. He always looked forward to the visits from the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Darrell's wife Mary, his son Michael and wife Debbie and Carl, Dolores and Larry Edges preceded him in death.
Darrell is survived by his three daughters, Kathy (Mark) Blozinski, their daughters, Erin (Pablo) Birman, Emily (Ed) Bowden, and Mallory Blozinski; Karen Panure, daughter, Heather (Rory) Johnson; Sue Panure (Dorwin Tevebaugh) sons, Adam and Alex (Stacie) VanBoxel; 9 great grandchildren, Hannah, Addison, Milo Johnson, Braxten, Kylie, McKena, Greyson VanBoxel, Francesca, Katarina Birman; His sisters, Connie (late Jerry) Thirion, Carol (late Bob) Kassner, Joanne (late Dick) Materniak, Germaine (late Jim) Burkart, and Judy (Bob) Ferguson; 10 brothers and sisters in laws, John (late Faye) Callahan, Pat (Karen) Callahan, Ollie (late Dick) Isenard, Maureen (late Al) Falk, Allen (Pat) Callahan, late Larry Callahan, Dennis (Lynn) Callahan, Bob (Colleen) Callahan, Terry (John) Turner, and Mark (Molly) Callahan; further survived by many other relatives and friends.
