Darlene D. (Francois) Walters, 88, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023. She was born February 23, 1935, in Bellevue to the late Henry A. and Margaret (Vander Linden) Francois.

Darlene graduated from Green Bay West High School, Class of 1953. She married Arthur "Art" Walters on February 15, 1958, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Together they celebrated 64 years of marriage. Art preceded her in death on September 12, 2022. Darlene worked as a secretary and receptionist for a variety of offices. She worked hard as a homemaker and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Steven A. (Val) Walters, John Walters, Thomas (Kim) Walters, Peter (Deborah) Walters, Jennifer (special friend, Chris) Walters; grandchildren, Haley, Steven Michael, Nicholas, Nathan, Trevor, Jenna Leigh, Andrew, Dominic, John Jr., Christopher, Joseph, Michael, Adam, London; 30 great-grandchildren; sister, Sally (Art) Kozlowski; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Art; parents, Henry and Margaret; siblings, Hank, Bill, Richard; parents-in-law, Arthur and Rena; siblings-in-law, Don, Dawn, Donna, Jerry.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 6; Visitation will continue on Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave., (The entrance is directly across from BP gas station on Glendale Ave.) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.
