Daniel R. "Dan" Winters, 63, Green Bay, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023. He was born January 2, 1960, in Green Bay to Richard and Shirley (Truskowski) Winters.

Dan graduated from Southwest High School, Class of 1978. He went on to UW – La Crosse and graduated as a computer programmer. For awhile Dan lived in Norway while working as a computer programmer. He spent 30 years living in Columbia, South Carolina but eventually returned to Green Bay. Dan was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and Brewer fan. He loved having a good time and was always up for some fun. Dan enjoyed baseball, golfing, fishing, playing cards, and shaking dice.

He is survived by his siblings, Dave "Edgar" (Jean) Winters, Debbie (Al) Neal, Mark (Laura) Winters, Tom "Duke" (Jaye P Mueller) Winters; nieces and nephews, Nicole (Ryan) Chambers, Molly (Mike) Heimke, Ashley (Matt) Olson, Jenna Winters, Calvin (Ali) Winters, Allie (Matt) Wavrunick; special friends, Fred and Joanne Alger and their family; aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Shirley; several aunts and uncles.
