Cyril A. Ziesmer, 97, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025. He was born December 11, 1927 in Green Bay to Otto and Minnie (Barlament) Ziesmer. Cyril joined the US Army after graduating high school in 1946. He proudly served during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1948. After discharge, Cyril started working for Green Bay Western Railroad until his retirement.

Cyril was a member of the Duck Creek VFW Post #7534 and Grace Lutheran Church. He loved spending time at the family cottage on Pelican Lake. Cyril enjoyed many daily meals at Bay Family Restaurant.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Sue (Greg) Neville, Lori (Steve) Parmentier, Gary (Carol) Ziesmer; 5 great-nieces and 6 great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Minnie Ziesmer; brothers, Merval Ziesmer, Roland (IlaMae) Ziesmer, Robert Ziesmer.

Visitation will be at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 1 PM to 2 PM on Thursday, July 10; The Funeral Service will be at 2 PM at the funeral home.
