Cynthia "Cindy" S. (Gerber) Mueller, 68, Ashwaubenon, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023.  She was born June 2, 1955 in Racine to Robert and Betty (Blodgett) Gerber.  She graduated from Waterford Union High School in 1973 and went right to work.  She started as a lathe operator at Northern Engineering.  In 1983, Cindy moved to Palm Springs, CA where she owned and operated a bar until she returned to Lakewood. She and her husband owned Sandtrap Bar and Grill until 1992 when she moved to Green Bay.  Cindy managed Open Pantry and various gas stations.  Cindy retired as a home health care agent with Home Instead in October 2022.

Cindy loved any time that she could spend at her seasonal site at Ponderosa Pines in Bancroft.  This is where she made many life long friends and shared many evenings  around the campfire.  Cindy loved the Christmas season and especially enjoyed all the baking during the season.  Cindy loved many of the  movies on the Hallmark and Lifetime Channels.

Cindy is survived by her sons, Jeff Schaefer and Jason (Lori) Schaefer; daughter-in-law, Joy Schaefer; siblings, Cara (Mark) Rogers, Robert (Patricia) Gerber, Mary (Kit) Heinen, Mark (Shawn Stib) Gerber; many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Betty; husband, Jim Mueller; niece, Ashley Heinen; and her dog, Taffy.
