On October 27th, 2023 Christopher R. Seeger peacefully left us for his heavenly home, with the sun coming up and his favorite birds singing. He lives on in all of our hearts.

Chris was born the oldest of five to Marie and Dick Seeger. He grew up in Brookfield, WI, and graduated from Waukesha Catholic Memorial High School. He attended college in Stevens Point with a degree in forestry. He met his wife Mary there as freshman, and they have been together ever since. They celebrated 43 married years together this past August.

For the past 27 years he has been the retail manager at Green Bay Nursery. Everyone who knew Chris knew what a huge Packer fan and season ticket holder - he was, never ever leaving a game early! He loved his kids and their spouses beyond measure-they were his life, as well as their beloved pups! He loved camping and campfires every summer and had one every night if he could, and watch for owls. You could always find him birding if he had a free moment, especially with his son, Nick, or the friends he made at Bay Area Bird Club. He so enjoyed his coworkers at Green Bay Nursery and was disappointed not to be able to make the move to De Pere with them.

Chris was met in heaven by his parents Marie and Dick Seeger, his in-laws Pat and Glenn Flemming, and brother-in-law Charlie Flemming.

Chris is survived by his wife, Mary. He is also survived by his children, son, Nick and his wife Erin; daughter Ellie and her husband Brett, as well as grandpuppies Sage, Arthur, Peanut and Tilly. He is further survived by his brothers, Jeff (Sally) Seeger, Greg (Dawn) Seeger; sisters Susie (Tim) Rieck, and Andrea Riemann; in-laws, Sue (Bob) Mangan, Mike (Teri) Flemming, Tom (Mary) Flemming, and nieces and nephews, Max (Emily), Charley, Jake, Katie (Nick), Austin (Breana), Montana, Rob (Kelly), Mindy, Jeff, Kelly, Paul (Erin), and Jon (Kristi).

Friends and family are invited to gather at Annunciation Catholic Church, 401 Gray St., from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, November 10.  The Memorial Mass will be at 5 p.m. Friday at the church with Rev. Antonio de los Santos officiating.  To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
