Christine A. (Cornette) Roe, 59, Green Bay, passed away Monday, July 13, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. She was born October 26, 1966, in Green Bay to Anthony "Tony" and Elizabeth "Betty" (Guyette) Cornette.
On July 2, 2005, Christine married David "Dave" Roe at the Omro Wedding Chapel and together they built a wonderful life filled with support and dedicated love for their family. They were just blessed to celebrate their 21st wedding anniversary. For many years she worked with the Iris Program as a caretaker for her son, Anthony "Tony". Christine was a long-time volunteer with the Red Cross, and it brought her great joy to be able to give and to care for her family and friends. She was a fierce protector and cared most of all for her "boys" Christine did all she could to ensure they were taken care of and knew how much she loved them. She made the holidays magical with her over the top Christmas presents and amazing homemade breads and cookies. She loved to celebrate birthdays and always did something to make the day special. Faith was important to Christine, and she loved going to church especially when she could attend mass at her home parish, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. On Sundays after church she would spend the day eating pizza, watching shows, or admiring the flowers in the garden. She loved flowers and would sit on the deck and watch the flowers grow and bloom, she especially loved the daisies that Dave grew. Christine found great happiness in the small things - a good rummage sale, discovering a new trail, camping with her family, and smelling the flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Dave; son, Anthony Lee Cornette; siblings, Paul (Shari) Cornette, Susan (Dan) Barrett, Richard (Julie) Cornette, Anne (Todd) Barron; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Betty; siblings, Carl, Dennis, Sharon Rose; in-laws, Donald A. and June R. Roe; brother-in-law, Michael J. Roe.
Friends and family will gather at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2771 Oakwood Dr., from 10am to 11am on Friday, July 24; Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11am. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
Christine's family extends a special thank you to St. Vincent's 9th floor and oncology nursing staff for their care and compassion.
