With great sadness we announce the passing of our mom Catherine "Cathy" Anderson, 92, on Friday, March 21 with family by her side. She was born July 9, 1932 in Escanaba, MI to Walter and Bertha Nehmer residing in her youth in Gladstone, MI.

She graduated from Gladstone High School, Class of 1950 with her schooling focused on business. Upon graduation she moved to Green Bay and was employed by Northwest Engineering for many years and was a long-time member of St Jude Catholic Church.

On February 16, 1957 she was united in marriage to Bruce Anderson and before his passing had celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. They were blessed with five children and at that time she dedicated her time to raising her family. Later when her children were grown, she worked at Prange Way.

Cathy had many creative talents, being accomplished on the piano, making many beautiful afghans through her crochet and knitting abilities and beautiful framed cross stitch pieces. She also enjoyed playing cards, golfing and bowling in leagues, earning many trophies over the years. She was also a strong swimmer, being a lifeguard in her youth.

She was most proud of her family and is survived by her five children, Tim (Kristen) Anderson, Kim Anders (Mike Servais), Kevin (Anne) Anderson, Bruce (Karen) Anderson, Mike Anderson (Heather Neely); grandchildren, Joel (fiancée, Courtney) Anderson, Drew (Stefanie) Anderson, Josh (Melissa) Anders, Kyle Anderson, Katie (Cody) Young, Jade Mercado, Zack Anderson, Brittni (Tyler) Sellers, Jenna (Brandon) Pierce, Dylan Anderson, Dawson Anderson; great-grandchildren, Declan, Devlin, Jackson, Brooklyn, Julia, Amara.
