Carolyn Ruth (Thiede) Bodden, 79, Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023. She was born November 10, 1943, in Denver, CO to Arthur and Lena (Hazel) Thiede.

Carolyn loved her work as a paralegal. She worked for several law offices and as a secretary for Beautiful Savior Lutheran. She married Daniel Bodden in June of 1966 and together they celebrated 57 years of marriage. Carolyn was extremely intelligent and used her intelligence to help her with her greatest passion, genealogy. She was talented and dedicated to creating as complete as she could family tree, she spent countless hours researching, traveling to find documents and taking grave rubbings. Carolyn loved antiques and finding unique old objects. She enjoyed feeding the deer and hummingbirds.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Bodden; daughter, Jennifer "Jenny" (Anthony) Zavarella; grandchildren, Carly Sullivan, Thomas "Tommy" Sullivan.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Lena.
