Carol Jean Sorenson, 81, Marinette, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025. She was born April 4, 1944, in Negaunee, MI to Anthony and Clara (Gagnon) Shelenski.

Following her graduation from Negaunee High School Carol worked as a nurse in a hospital where she met her future husband, Kenneth W. "Ken" Sorenson. On November 19, 1966, they married and together, they were blessed with two children. Carol was a devoted wife and mother.

She is survived by her children, Scott (Tine Rosenthal) Sorenson, Tracy (Rusty) Morris; grandchildren, Alex (Chelsea) Sorenson, Logan Morris, Rachel Morris; great-grandchildren, Eli and Elsney; sister, Judy Jetty; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Ken; parents, Anthony and Clara; daughter-in-law, Britta Sorenson; brother-in-law, Albert Jetty.
