Carol Ann Rutten, 74, Hortonville, passed away peacefully at Country Villa, Little Chute, on Monday, December 22, 2025. She was born April 15, 1951 to Amor and Annabelle (Zajec) Rutten.

After graduating high school, Carol began her working career, where she worked at Miller Electric as a Factory Tester until her retirement in 2010. In her younger years, Carol took some time for herself in traveling throughout the United States. As Carol's parents aged, she served as caretaker and companion as well as daughter. She led a simple, yet enjoyable, life, where she found pleasure in reading, crocheting, and bird watching.

Carol is survived by her aunt, Rosella Heiny; goddaughter, Tara (Michael) Molway; close friend, Joan (Robert) Grode; many cousins, friends, and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
