Carol Jean Podraza, 91, Oconto Falls, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2026 surrounded by loved ones at The Cottages at Meadowlands Senior Living in Oconto Falls, WI. She was born April 25, 1935, in Green Bay to Emanuel "Monnie" and Romay (Kahler) Calawerts.

Carol graduated from Green Bay West High School. On January 28, 1966, she married Donald Podraza. Carol enjoyed working alongside her family at Parker Coatings. She loved deeply and put those she loved before herself; she was silently selfless and never complained. She enjoyed fishing, ceramics, and traveling. Carol loved that she had been able to take a trip to the Amazon where she saw many exotic birds. Watching birds at home made her smile and it was always special to see a cardinal. Carol loved cardinals and they held a special place in her heart.

She is survived by her husband, Don; children, Gary (Lisa) Podraza, Tracy Podraza, Scot (Brenda) Podraza; grandchildren, Austin (Maddi), Lexi, Matthew (Ashley), Alivia (Casey), Lauren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
