Carol Dawn Collins, 93, Green Bay, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024. She was born November 22, 1930, in Green Bay to Roland and Helen (Kassner) Kramer.
Carol married Milton Collins on October 7, 1950 at St. Joseph Church. Carol was the love of Milton's life from the day they first met. Together they were devout Catholic and charter members of St. Agnes Parish where they made many friends supporting the needs of their beloved church and school.
Carol was a prayer warrior where the rosary brought her peace during her daily conversations with her faith. The only experience that could compare to her deep faith is the love she had for her family.
Everyone who met Carol loved her. Carol greeted everyone with a smile and called them "honey" or "dolly". Carol's unending conversation with even a stranger created instant friendships. A gift she carried to her last breath.
Carol's hobbies and greatest joy was taking care of her large family. This included being a taxi driver with Milton to dentist and doctor appointments and school chaperones for numerous outings. Carol was always just a phone call away.
Some of Carol's happiest times were spending summers with her family at their cottage relaxing on the beach and crocheting. As the families grew, everyone was welcome, and Carol always asked; "Can't you stay longer?"
Milton was a talented gardener supplying Carol with an endless supply of vegetables for her love of canning. The cupboards were lined with an array of vegetable colors. As the daughters grew older, Carol was eager to share as soon as they walked through the door.
Carol will be missed, a hole so deep for her large family of three generations. Together with Milton, Carol will always be remembered for the love she shared with each and every blessing in her life. Rest in peace our little angel.
She is survived by her husband, Milton; children, Mary (Glen "Mike") Hecker, Debbie (Jeff "Herbie") Herber, Bonnie (Gregg) Maes, Pam (Tom) Dorsey; grandchildren, Michelle (Joseph), Dawn, Aprille (Keith), Jeff (Tricia), Chrissy (Drew), Dustan (Wendy), Leah (Kyle), Nick (Aimee), Lindsay (Josh); greatgrandchild, Faith, John, Renee, Tom, Maddy, Bryce, Brody, Jake, Mason, Ireland, Carter, Sullivan, Stella, Shylah, Adler, Crew, Soren, Ellis, Ryker, Kinlee, Owen, Rorrie; brother, Ronald (Carol) Kramer; brother-in-law, Meril (Carol) Collins; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
