Carl Edward Adams, 78, Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023. He was born December 31, 1944, in Murfreesboro, TN to Joseph and Bessy (McCallough) Adams.

Carl graduated from Central High School in Murfreesboro, TN, Class of 1964. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served from 1966 to 1969. Carl married Judith Sandberg on November 1, 1969 at Hogarty Presbyterian Church. He worked as a truck driver, was a meat cutter for Swift and owned Pine Acre Hotel in Shawano. Carl and Judy loved to travel across the United States. He was always very active until 1988 when he became disabled due to a terrible car accident. Carl always loved cars and prior to his accident enjoyed restoring classic cars and maintaining his two classic corvettes.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judith; children, Andrew (Kelly) Adams, Aaron Adams, Shannyn (Andrew Miller) Adams-Miller, Nathan Adams, Luke Adams; grandchildren, Peyton Adams, Paige Adams, Grace Adams, Hayden Miller, Charley Miller; brothers, Larry Adams, Calvin Adams; sister-in-law, Mary Garnier; brother-in-law, Kurt (Trisha) Sandberg; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Bessy; sister, Lois Manus; brother, Douglas Adams; brother-in-law, Robert Garnier; parents-in-law, Alvin (Eidell) Sandberg.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, January 15; Memorial Service to follow at 12 p.m. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
