Bucky Blaser, 93, Green Bay, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025. He was born October 3, 1931 in Green Bay to the late David and Lorraine (Terry) Blaser.

Bucky graduated from Central Catholic High School, Class of 1950. He then served in the U.S. Army. Bucky married Teresa "Terry" Smith on June 12, 1987. He enjoyed golfing in the summer and doing his yard work. Other months Bucky enjoyed exercising, reading, and vacationing in Florida. He retired in October 1993 from James Rivers after 43 years of employment.

He also was a church greeter with his wife at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish where they were married. He was a volunteer at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral as a lecturer and communion distributor for many years.

One of his greatest loves besides his wife, children, and grandchildren was his love of traveling. This he did with great zeal. While in service in Germany he was able to spend time in twelve countries and was so taken up with traveling in Europe that he continued traveling after being discharged. He and his wife returned to Europe many times.

He was a loving husband and father and will be sadly missed by his wife, Terry; children, Eileen (Steve) Fritsch, Cobb, WI. and their sons, Nicholas and Matthew; Lori (Terry) Wheeler, Chicago, IL. and their son, Kyle (Linn); Bonnie's children, Heather (Jake), Brandon; Mark (Kari) Blaser, Sobieski, WI. and their daughter, Taren (Mike) and son, Travis (Kneisha); Karl (Judy) Blaser, Kaukauna, WI. and his son, Ryan (Jenny); Rosanne (Mark) Hall, Green Bay, WI. and their daughter, Kaylin and son, Vincent (Honey Grace); great-grandchildren, Bjorn, Ingrid, Elle Wheeler, Michael Conley, Avalynn and Amiyah Blaser, Lincoln, Evie, and Theodore Blaser; sister-in-law, Edna Blaser; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Deceased members of the family include his daughter, Bonnie Lutzow; his oldest grandchild, Leah Wheeler; great-grandson, Kendyn Blaser; sister, Minette (Bill) Wesley; brothers, Jerry (Lois) Blaser, Louie Blaser.

Friends may call in the Resurrection Room of the Cathedral Center at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, 140 S. Monroe Ave., from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 23; Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Chase Wisconsin.
