Bryan E. O'Leary, 59, of Green Bay, was called to his heavenly home on Monday, February 19, 2024, surrounded by his family. Bryan was born May 2, 1964, in Green Bay to Edwin G. and Carole (Wickman) O'Leary. He was a 1982 graduate of Green Bay Southwest High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in communications and a minor in business administration from UW-Green Bay. He married Lisa (Bauer) on November 9, 1996, and together they were blessed with three sons, Connor, Brendan, and Liam.
Bryan was a man of faith and was a partner of St. Mark Ministries for over 50 years. He served as lead usher for many of those years. Bryan's church community was like his family, and he was a strong believer in the three "F's" – faith, family, and football. He often said, "Let God be God," and "God is the glue." Bryan's family was the top priority in his life, and he was so proud of each of his boys. He was a people person and always took the time to visit with everyone and lived his faith in everyday conversation. His favorite past time was spending time with his family and his dog, Winston. Bryan loved football and was an avid Packer fan; he loved collecting coins and looked forward to his weekly Saturday visits to the coin store. He also enjoyed camping, baseball, listening to a wide variety of music, and long-distance running in his younger years.
Bryan started his career in sales and food distribution as a route salesman for Jimmy Boy Pizza. He then worked for Schwan's for eight years and earned many top salesman awards. In 2015, Bryan's dream to own his own business became a reality when he bought his own chuck wagon food truck and became a member of the Green Bay food truck community as O'Leary's Goods. He referred to his truck as a "convenience store on wheels" and had 40+ stops every day providing breakfast and lunch to local businesses. Bryan also serviced over 60 bars and businesses in Green Bay and surrounding communities selling jerky, snacks, bar goods, and more. It was his funny, goofy, easygoing nature and strong work ethic that helped him achieve such success.
Bryan is survived by his wife, Lisa; sons, Connor O'Leary, Brendan O'Leary, and Liam (Kiera Owen) O'Leary; mother, Carole O'Leary; siblings, Kerry O'Leary, Stacey O'Leary, Chad (Carol Ann) O'Leary; mother-in-law, Sandra (Ted) Shannon; sister-in-law, Ann Bauer; brothers-in-law, Daniel (Karen) Bauer, William (Sarah) Bauer; nieces and nephews, Olivia O'Leary, Marissa O'Leary, Makenzie O'Leary, Colton Bauer, Ava Bauer, Dominic Bauer; great niece, Alayna, great nephew, Isaiah; aunts uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Bryan was preceded in death by his father, Edwin.
