Beverly Ann Weyenberg, 89, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7th, 2024. She was born on December 2nd, 1934 to Frank and Ida (Robl) Kujawa.
Bev graduated from Oshkosh High School, Class of 1953. Her first job after graduation was a secretary for a law firm. Bev spent time working in the Personnel Office at Winnebago State Hospital and with Chevrolet Motor Division in Green Bay. At the age of 24 Bev married Marvin Weyenberg on July 11, 1959 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oshkosh, recently celebrating 65 years together. Bev worked as a clerk for Brown County Human Services for 22 years retiring in 1998 at the age of 62.
Beverly grew up in Oshkosh where she developed a deep connection to her hometown. Each holiday season, she made cherished trips to Hughes and Oaks Candy Shops as well as Leon's Frozen Custard, purchasing treats for family and friends. Affectionately known as "The Card Queen", Bev ensured every relative and friend felt remembered and supported through all life's endeavors. Her collection of cards, carefully chosen and lovingly written, were a reflection of love for those around her. Bev especially enjoyed attending family reunions and having lunches with her adored cousins. Bev kept meticulous records, most often with photographs and cards showing the date and time of every occasion. She had wonderful times playing cards with her group of friends, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. Beverly had a heart of gold and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
