Beverly Elaine Funk, 103, Green Bay, passed away following a short illness on January 26, 2025, at Caraton Commons in De Pere. She was born on June 24, 1921, to the late Leornard and Bertha (McDaniel) Prue in Laona, WI. Beverly was proud to be the first person born at the new hospital in Laona.

Being the eldest child, Beverly helped care for her nine siblings until she married Elmer Funk in July of 1938. She worked for many families as a housekeeper with whom she became close friends. All who knew her appreciated her kind, generous, and welcoming nature.

Beverly is survived by her son, Kenneth and daughter-in-law Mary, daughters-in-law, Nancy Funk and Mary Lambert; sister, Carol Garouett; grandchildren, Steve Funk, Tracey Waite, Michele Nellis, Cheryl Sacotte, Renee Kading, Bret Funk; mother of Renee and Bret, Judy Funk; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer E. Funk; and sons, Thomas M. Funk and Garry W. Funk.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., on Friday, February 7 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. A memorial celebration of Beverly's life will be held at 11:30 a.m. Inurnment will be in Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
