Betty J. Rogers, 88, Green Bay, made her transition to her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. The daughter of the late Bedford Beckham and Gertie Mae (Burchett) Rose was born on July 11, 1935 in Christian County, KY.

Betty met the love of her life, Marvin Joseph "Marv" Rogers, who was from Green Bay, while he was stationed at Fort Campbell in Kentucky. They were married December 7, 1954 and moved back to Green Bay shortly after. Marv preceded Betty in death on April 28, 2006.

Betty was a woman of incredible strength and determination. She took on both raising her children and working to support her family. In her lifetime she had many hobbies and interests that included, but was not limited to: racing stock cars with Marv, making calligraphy pieces, as well as writing and sharing the many stories of her life with friends and family. She was a big fan of the Kentucky Wild Cats basketball team, as well as the Green Bay Packers. Betty enjoyed classic country music and a cup of homebrewed sun tea. She was actively involved at St. Paul's United Methodist Church for many years. After Marv's passing, she moved to Woodfield Village where she made numerous friends in the twilight years of her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Kevin (Julie) Rogers, Jill (Wayne) Diedrich, Jenny (Bob) Whitefield; daughter-in-law, Lisa Rogers; grandchildren, Eric (Eden) Rogers, Jacob Rogers, Wesley Rogers, Andrew Rogers, Stewart Droeger, Rachael (Adam) Prichard, Bryce (fiancée, Meghan Sanders) Whitefield; great-grandchildren, Estelle Rose Prichard, Wren James Rogers; sisters, Carolyn (Ken) West, Helen Dale Frederick; goddaughter, Wendy Duerr; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Marv; son, Jim Rogers; grandson, Tyler Droeger; as well as brothers and sisters.

Friends and family will gather at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 341 Wilson St. on Tuesday, November 21 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A funeral service for Betty will be held at 11:00 a.m., Rev.
