Betty J. Pegorsch-Krumrei, 99, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. She was born on March 8, 1925, in Oconto Falls to the late Edward and Ella (Hertwig) Bigelow.

Betty was a graduate of Oconto Falls High School. On June 6, 1943, she married Marvin Pegorsch. He preceded her in death in on December 15, 1988. Betty then married Norman Krumrei in 1994, and he preceded her in death on February 1, 2001.

Betty worked as a bookkeeper for Super Valu for over 30 years until her retirement in 1986. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, and spending time with her family after her retirement.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Liz) Pegorsch; grandchildren, Tiffany (Dan) Dorta, Allison (Lidel Johnson) Pegorsch and Zachary (Shania) Pegorsch; great grandchildren, Lennon, Kennedy, Hendrix, Giselle, J.D., and Sebastian; brother, Neil Bigelow; son in law, Michael (Paula) Furst; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her husbands and parents, Betty preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Furst; 11 brothers and sisters; and a sister-in-law, Sandra Bigelow.
