She worked for many years as the library secretary at Franklin Middle School, where she was known for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to students and staff.

Barbara had a lifelong love of Disney and delighted in treating her children and grandchildren to many memorable Disney vacations. She especially cherished celebrating Christmas with her family. She rarely missed her grandchildren's sporting events, school activities, concerts, and special occasions, always making it a priority to be there to support and cheer them on. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, creating lasting memories with those she loved.
