Arleen "Peg" (Vickery) Docter, 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 28, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family.

The daughter of James and Edith Vickery, Peg graduated from University of Wisconsin at LaCrosse where she was Homecoming Queen. She and Doc moved to Suamico in 1987 after he retired from teaching. Peg was a gracious hostess who could prepare a beautiful feast at a moment's notice. She was a talented artist, avid swimmer and master of the golf cart tour around her Suamico property. Her sense of humor and unflagging optimism will be dearly missed.

She will be remembered by her four children, Tim (Sandy) Docter, Edie Orr, Pat (Chris) Docter, and Jim (Jenny) Docter; fourteen grandchildren, Sara, Melissa, Daniel, Andrew, Joseph, Gregory, John, Kelly, Daniel, Rebecca, John, James, Matthew and Amy; eleven great-grandchildren; and many friends and other family members.

Peg was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, Patrick (Doc) Docter, her parents and her six siblings.

The family wishes to thank the staff of New Perspective and Unity Hospice for their care and compassion, and Tina Johnson, Fred and Cheryl Selsmeyer, and Annette Henry for their loyal friendship over the years.
