Archibald "Archie" J. Servais, 92, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024 after a brief illness. He was born January 29, 1931, in Brussels, WI to John and Mary (Vincent) Servais.
Archie enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Seoul as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean War. After returning from the war, on April 8, 1961, he married Jeanne Dalebroux at St. Jude Catholic Church. He started his career at Cliff Wall Motors and remained with them for over 60 years and retired as a parts manager. He was loyal to the company and Oldsmobile. Archie might possibly consider something other than G.M., but probably not. He had an incredible sense of humor that helped create long lasting friendships. For years he would go bowling or play cards with his coworkers and have coffee and hotdogs. Even after his retirement he would continue bowling; he really loved bowling. He remained active by helping to park cars for Packer games and events at the arena. Archie enjoyed camping, fishing with his son, family and friends, cheering on the Packers, and attending Brewer games with his daughter. He loved spending time with his family and being a Papa.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; children, Stephan J. (Lynn) Servais, Lynne (Brian "Ernie") De Roach; grandchildren, Antone "A.J." (Kari) Servais, Kayla (significant other, Troy) Servais, Justine (significant other, Justin) De Roach, Elliott (significant other, Lindsey) De Roach, Olivia De Roach; great-grandson, Archie J.; sister-in-law, Millie Haskins; longtime friend and coworker, Richard "Puppy" Paplham with who he enjoyed many long talks; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Archie was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary; siblings, Viola (Edward) Goulder, Thisla (Gordon) Lemens-Kellner, Anton Servais, Esther (Delmer) LaCount, John Jr. (Elizabeth) Servais, Royal (Cathy) Servais.
