Anne Yelle, 96, Green Bay, peacefully passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024. She was born September 15, 1927, in Martin, Czechoslovakia, which is now Slovakia to Paul and Zuzanna (Rafay) Fucela.
In 1934 her family left Europe and immigrated to Canada. They lived on a farm near Lowther, Ontario and later moved to Hamilton, Ontario. When she was about 18, she moved to the Milwaukee area with her father and sister after mother passed away.
In 1953 she met the man she would marry while living in Milwaukee and moved to Green Bay in 1956. Anne enjoyed bowling, gardening, and playing cards with friends. They made several trips to Canada and a trip to Czechoslovakia to visit relatives. They divorced in 1988.
She is survived by her children, Leo Yelle Jr., Lynn (Curtis) Boger, Deb Friar; grandchildren, Timothy (Elizabeth) Boger and Bryan (Abigail) Boger, Ava, Arden, and Reese Friar; great-grandsons, Noah and Ezra Boger; nieces and nephews.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Zuzanna; brothers, Michael Fucela, Walter Fucela; sisters, Mary Dezamba, Helen Fucela, and Olga Ludin.
