Anna M. (Lentz) Engebretsen, 87, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023 after a short battle with cancer. She was born to Louis and Mary (Smetana) Lentz on January 5, 1936 in Hopkins, MN. Anna moved to Wisconsin when she was three. She lived on a farm until she married Kenneth Engebretsen on October 27, 1956. Together they had 3 children: Debbie, Doreen, and Brian. Anna worked at Woolworth's, Larsen Canning, and Romo Display until her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Don Exferd; her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Sunny Engebretsen; grandchildren, Shawn and Sarah Selissen, Brandon Selissen, Josh and Sammy Engebretsen, Heath and Dustin Engebretsen, Staush Gruszynski, Justin and Kayla Gruszynski, Jacob Engebretsen; great-grandchildren, Abby, Kaydance, Kaitlyn (Hunter), Mason, Axel, Aiden four sisters, Carol Stark, Mary Lou Lentz, Karlene (Russell) Martens, Karen Korpi; a brother-in-law, Bill Weber; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ken; daughter, Doreen; grandson, Chad Selissen; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Red Seymour, Laverna Webber, Joyce and Bob Olson; brothers-in-law, Jack Stark, Jerry Korpi, Bill and Don Engebretsen; sisters-in-law, June Kramer, Joyce and Ervin Gusick; parents-in-law, nieces, Marnie Martens and Brenda Kreuser.
Visitation will be at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 9 a.m. to Noon on Wednesday, April 5. The Funeral Service will be at Noon Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev.
