Ann M. Peterson, 67, passed from this life and into the arms of Jesus Christ early in the morning of Saturday, July 13, 2024 with her close friend Christi Engels by her side. Words can hardly convey the depths of the loss for all who knew her. This world has lost a kind and gentle soul with an amazing love for life and wonderful sense of humor. She will live on in our hearts until we are reunited on that wonderful day when the Good Lord will restore all things.

She was born on August 5, 1956 to Vernon L. and Margaret Mary (Hoffman) Knutson in Marinette, WI.  For many years she worked as a preschool teacher. Later, she was a CNA at various locations until she was no longer able to work. On August 29, 2009 she married the love of her life, Michael Wayne Peterson at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Mukwonago, WI. Many close friends attended the ceremony and Bruce, Christi and Keturah Engels were honored to be in the wedding party. Mike was a military veteran, and they shared a beautiful marriage for 12 years until Michael passed away August 29, 2021. Ann enjoyed shopping, puzzles, geese watching, country music, anything miniature, and crafting. She was a woman of deep faith and frequently attended services at Hillside Community Church in Mukwonago, WI. Ann enjoyed participating in church activities and sharing her faith with her friends. She loved all shades of purple and having Peanut Buster Parfaits and Diet Mountain Dew.

She is survived by her friends that became her family.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Friends and family will gather for a Memorial Service at North Pines Christian Fellowship, W331S5129 Hood Pkwy, North Prairie, WI 53153, starting at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 9. Everyone is encouraged to wear Ann's favorite colors, lavender, purple, or mauve. A private interment will take place at a later time.
