Andrew Sorensen, 18, Suamico, died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 24, 2018. He was born on June 23, 2000, to Nathan and Wendy (Hansen) Sorensen.  Drew graduated from St. John the Baptist School in 2013, then from Bay Port High School in Suamico in the class of 2018. Drew continued his education at NWTC, working to become an Automotive Technician.

Drew always had a deep love of cars and would work on them whenever he could. He was a great brother and son, who cherished his family. He loved spending time with them on vacations, especially to Europe and other countries. In his free time, he also enjoyed playing games, spending time with friends and driving.

Drew is survived by his mother, Wendy; his brother, Maxwell; his step-father, Kevin Severa; his grandparents, Paul and MaryEllen Sorensen, Oak Creek, WI; an uncle and aunt, Phillip and Lauren Sorensen, S. Lake Tahoe, CA; an uncle and aunt, Tim and Colleen Hansen, Green Bay; four cousins, Axel and Noah Sorensen, Alex and Evan Hansen; and many other relatives and close friends.

Drew was preceded in death by his father, Nathan Sorensen, and his grandparents, Gerald and Jean Hansen; and step-grandparents, James E. Severa, Jr. and Petronella (Nel) Van de Laarschot.

Family and friends may visit at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, with a Parish Wake Service to be held at 8:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave., (one quarter mile east of the corner of Cardinal Ln. and Glendale Ave.) from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday.
