Patricia A. “Pat” Bartels, 86, Green Bay, passed away Friday, September 20, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 16, 1927 in Green Bay to the late Thomas A. and Fern A. (Neumann) McClone, Sr. Pat graduated from Green Bay West High School with the class of 1945. On June 10, 1950 she married William J. Bartels at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Green Bay. Over the years, Pat worked for New York Life, American Family and Aetna Life & Casualty.

Pat was a long-time member of St. Agnes Parish, St. Agnes Ladies Society, Whirl-Away Square Dance Club and Antique Study Club. She enjoyed collecting antiques and cookbooks, spending time in Door County with family and friends, traveling to Las Vegas, and shopping trips.

Pat is survived by her children and their spouses, Kathleen and Wayne Maccoux, New Franken; Judith and Gary Dietzo, Kohler; Beth Bartels, Neenah; Steven and Julie Bartels, Green Bay. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Erik Maccoux, Adam Dietzo, Lisa (Wesley) Burrows-Godfrey, and Jon (Linda) Burrows; as well as her four great-grandchildren, Bryce, Isabella, Logan and Alyson.

She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Christine McClone; a special niece, Joanne Hoffpauir; in-laws, Beverly Rodriguez, Sharon Schricker, Martha Marcks, Debbie Bartels, Gary and Karen Bartels, Sandi Bartels; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William Bartels; her sisters and their spouses, Leone and Clarence Laes, Vivian and Douglas Laundrie, Sr., and Marguerite Jacquart; her brother, Thomas A. Mc Clone, Jr.; a special aunt, Ethel Olson; her father-in-law, Fred and Vi (Hardtke) Bartels; her mother-in-law, Zoah (Hoffman) Bartels; and other in-laws, Earl and Ruth Bartels, Brent Bartels, Roy Bartels, Joe Rodriguez and John Schricker.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Friends may also call at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Rev.
